Srinagar, Oct 14: A Seema Sashtra Bal (SSB) trooper has allegedly fled along with ammunition in Nagam village of central Kashmir's Budgam district.
A police official told news agency KDC that an SSB constable identified as Altaf Hussain of Rehan Koteranka area of Rajouri district, posted at 14th Bn Nagam has been missing since Tuesday evening along with an INSAS magazine containing twenty rounds.
"He has gone missing while he was performing his duties at Morcha number 5 along with ammunition, since Tuesday 09:15 PM," he said.
Meanwhile, a missing complaint in this regard has been lodged at police station Chadoora and police after asserting the details of the incident, have begun their efforts to trace the missing trooper.
