Bandipora, Feb 25: Gurez Winter Sports Festival 2023 kicked off with opening of Gurez Snow Cricket Premier League earlier this week.
The tournament is being organised by the Indian Army stationed in Dawar locality of Gurez valley.
Officials said the most exciting sports tournaments in the gurez Valley is participated by sixteen teams. The tournament attracted a large number of cricket enthusiasts from across the valley.
They further stated that three matches were played on the first day and the matches were filled with thrilling moments, including spectacular catches, big sixes, and nerve-wracking run chases.
The spectators were treated to some excellent cricketing skills, and they cheered their teams on with great enthusiasm.
The Gurez Snow Cricket Premier League is highly appreciated by the youth and locals are thrilled on getting opportunity and platform for young cricketers from the region to showcase their talent.
