SHOPIAN, June 2: Shopian Police organised a farewell function to accord a warm send-off to a retiring officer on his superannuation.
Sub-Inspector Showkat Ahmad was given a heartfelt farewell by all ranks of Shopian Police on attaining the age of superannuation. On the occasion, a simple yet impressive farewell function was held at the DPO Shopian.
Speaking at the event, SSP Shopian lauded the dedication, commitment and exemplary service rendered by the retiring officer throughout his career. He conveyed his best wishes for a healthy, happy and fulfilling post-retirement life and presented a memento as a token of appreciation and respect for his outstanding services.
Moreover, Addl.SP Shopian, DySP Hqrs Shopian, DySP DAR Shopian and other police officers were also present on the occasion. They acknowledged the valuable contribution of the outgoing officer to the department and extended their heartfelt wishes for his future endeavors and post-retirement life.
