Bandipora Jan 01: Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Sumbal, Murtaza Ahmad Sheikh, today convened a meeting to review the arrangements for the upcoming Republic Day celebrations in the Sumbal sub-division.
The meeting was attended by officer from civil administration, police, and various line departments.
The SDM emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the event, which holds immense national significance.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding security arrangements, traffic management, uninterrupted power supply, and other logistical requirements.
SDM, directed all departments to finalize their preparations promptly and ensure all necessary facilities are in place at the venue well in advance.
The SDM further highlighted the need to maintain strict security measures and ensure public convenience during the celebrations.
He called upon all stakeholders to work in unison to uphold the sanctity and spirit of the event.
Among others the event was attended by Tehsildar Sumbal, BDOs and other concerned.
