Bandipora, April 23: SANKALP – Hub for Empowerment of Women under Mission Shakti, in collaboration with the Child Development Project Office (CDPO) Bandipora, conducted an on-the-spot issue resolution session to address technical challenges faced by field staff in the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana portal.
The session aimed at assisting Anganwadi Workers and Supervisors in resolving difficulties related to data entry and portal operations, ensuring smooth implementation of the scheme.
An expert from SANKALP HEW, Haris (DEO), provided hands-on technical support, addressing individual queries and resolving multiple issues on the spot. Participants received step-by-step guidance to improve efficiency and accuracy in handling portal-related tasks.
Officials highlighted that accurate and timely data entry under PMMVY is crucial for ensuring prompt disbursement of benefits to eligible beneficiaries, particularly pregnant women and lactating mothers.
The programme also included an awareness component on various welfare schemes of the Social Welfare Department and other line departments, with a focus on strengthening grassroots outreach.
Additionally, a session under Poshan Pakhwada was conducted, sensitising participants about nutrition, maternal health, and child care. Workers were encouraged to actively promote awareness within their communities.
The initiative was well received, with participants appreciating the practical support provided to streamline their work and improve service delivery.
