Srinagar, Feb 03: The Sahitya Akademi organised a literary program, 'Kavi sandhi,' with renowned poet Sagar Sarfaraz on Saturday at M.D School Hajin.
Mohammad Amin Bhat, President of Adabi M Markaz Kamraz, graced the event as the chief guest. In addition to him, attendees included President HAS Shakir Shafi, Zameer Ansari, Dr. Riyaz ul Hassan, Majeed Majazi, Nazir Javid, Al Haj Ghulam Nabi, Manzoor Ahmad Manzoor, Shabnam Tilgami, and Sagar Sarfaraz. Writers, poets, journalists, and members of HAS participated in the program.
Sagar Sarafraz mesmerised the audience with his profound verses during the event. As he took the stage, his verses resonated with the beauty of language and emotion, creating an atmosphere filled with anticipation.
Majeed Majazi emphasised the importance of such programs, stating that they generate interest among the younger generation for their mother tongue. Several speakers highlighted the significance of the program, offering heartfelt praise for Sagar Sarfaraz's poetry.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Nazir Javid, the patron of Wahab Cultural Society Hajin.”
