Srinagar, June 19: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, in a motivational address to the youth of Kashmir, drew inspiration from Urdu poetry to emphasize the importance of hard work in achieving success.
Invoking Nida Fazli’s famous Urdu Gazal, he conveyed the message that there are no shortcuts to success, and urged the youth to strive diligently towards their goals.
Sinha was addressing the water sports players after felicitating the winners of ‘Jashn-e-Dal’, a Water Sports event organized by Jammu Kashmir Police, at Srinagar on Monday.
"Safar Main Dhoop To Hogi, Jo Chal Sako To Chalo," Manoj Sinha recited to highlight the presence of hardships in every endeavor.
He emphasized that success is attained by those who wholeheartedly confront these challenges. LG Sinha further emphasized that sportsmanship instills a fighting spirit within the youth, enabling them to overcome any challenge that life presents.
Continuing with the poetic inspiration, Manoj Sinha quoted another couplet from the same ghazal, "Kisi Ke Vaste Raahein Kahaan Badalti Hain, Tum Apne Aap Ko Khud Hi Badal Sako To Chalo" (Paths don't change their course for anybody; if you can change yourself, please do so and success will be yours).
He explained that these verses beautifully capture the essence of success, emphasizing that external circumstances may not alter, but one can transform themselves to achieve their goals. Sinha encouraged individuals to embrace self-transformation as the key to attaining success.
