Srinagar 23 June./-Charter ceremony of Rotary Kashmir was held on 23rd of June at the Seminar Hall of Jammu and Kashmir Academy Of Art Culture And Languages in a simple function.
In the function Kashmir Rotary was installed as a unit of (3070) district.The District governor Rtn Brijesh Singhal handed over the Charter certificate to the Kashmir Rotary President in presence of the District Secretary Rtn Abeshekh Chodhrey and Co Chairman Rtn Adeep Singh Mehta.
In the function Rotary members from entire Kashmir were present. Rtn Dost Dar (Bondipora) President, Rtn Ahmad Najar (Baramulla) Secretary and Leherwal Mushtaq(Ganderbal) Treasurer were honoured.
All members were pinned by the District Governor and were welcomed in the prestigious Rotary family.
In the function various dignitaries including professionals and activists were present like Amit Wanchoo, Faiz Bakhshi and Jaggit Singh etc.
On the occasion Past President Rotaract club Ayoub Medical College Abbotabad Pakistan Zahheeqa Shah was guest of honour.
District Governor Rtn Brijesh Singhal in his speech said that it is a historical event and gave a detailed account of Rotary movement, it's objectives and achievements.
The guests from the District were given momemtos by Rotary Kashmir. Saffron Khewa and Samavar was a delight for the guests who hailed the Kashmir culture and its hospitality.
