RNAF Conducts Menstrual Hygiene and Sanitary Napkin Distribution Drive in North Kashmir’s Narbal, Watlab

Baramulla, April 06: Rouble Nagi Art Foundation successfully organized a Menstrual Hygiene and Sanitary Napkin Distribution drive among women and girls in Narbal and Watlab, Kashmir, reinforcing its commitment to women’s health, hygiene, and community welfare.

The initiative witnessed active participation from over 450 women, girls higher secondary school and the local community. The drive focused on raising awareness about menstrual hygiene while ensuring access to essential sanitary products, particularly for women in underserved and rural areas.
Founder of the RNAF, Rouble Nagi engaged with participants through an interactive session, emphasizing the importance of safe hygiene practices, breaking social taboos, and encouraging open dialogue around menstrual health.
The official spokesperson of the foundation while talking to Kashmir Convener said, “the distribution drive is part of the foundation’s broader outreach efforts aimed at empowering women through health awareness and resource accessibility. By addressing critical gaps in hygiene infrastructure and awareness, the initiative seeks to foster dignity, confidence, and well-being among women in the region,” he added
Local residents expressed appreciation for the effort, noting the positive impact such initiatives have on improving health standards and promoting social awareness.
