Bandipora April 21: In the picturesque district of Bandipora in Kashmir, a whopping 500kg of trout fish was sold in just three days ahead of Eid al-Fitr, the festival marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan. 

Bandipora Fisheries Department reported that the demand for trout fish, which is highly sought-after for its delicate taste and nutritional value, saw a significant increase in the lead-up to the festive season. 

The department added that the sale of trout fish generated significant revenue for the local economy and provided a much-needed boost to the fish farming industry in the region.

Officials of the Fisheries department reported that a staggering 500kgs of trout fish was sold in just three days on the occasion of Eid-al-Fitr. 

The Fisheries department, which is responsible for the promotion and development of fish farming in the region, said that the demand for trout fish had increased significantly in the days leading up to the festival. 

This surge in demand resulted in the sale of 500kgs of trout fish, generating considerable revenue for the local economy.
