Pulwama Police Organise Cultural Festival With Folk Troupe Performances

PULWAMA, April 21: Pulwama Police organised a Cultural Festival featuring traditional folk troupe performances in the district in memory of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, reflecting a spirit of cultural pride and community engagement.

The programme was held at Government Degree College for Women Pulwama, where students actively took part in various cultural activities and performances showcasing the rich heritage and traditions of the region.

The Senior Superintendent of Police, Pulwama, Ms. Tanushree-IPS attended the event as the Chief Guest and appreciated the efforts of the organisers and participants. The SSP highlighted the importance of such initiatives in promoting cultural values, strengthening community bonds, and encouraging youth to engage in positive and constructive activities. On the occasion, a trophy, certificates of appreciation and a cash prize of ₹4,500 was also presented.
