Bandipora, 22 April. District Police Bandipora continuing its series of initiatives in order to strengthen bond between Police & Public, besides listening to the grievances of Public, organised Police -Public interaction at High school Banakoot and Main Chowk Mantrigam under JS of Police Station Pethkoot.
SSP Bandipora, Sh Rahul Malik-IPS interacted with general public and listened to their greviances patiently , which were both of civic and police nature. SHO- PS Pethkoot was also present during these interactions.
He highlighted the role of Bandipora Police in bringing peace and tranquility in these areas, besides sought cooperation of general public in eradication of many social evils & drug menace. Participants were given due assurance that their genuine demands would be taken up with concerned authorities and will be redressed on priority basis.
People of these areas thanked SSP Bandipora for his visit, and strengthening the grevience redressal mechanism of J&K Police in friendly manner by reaching public on door to door level.
