Awantipora, April 26: Under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, Police Party of Police Station Khrew, headed by SHO Inspector Naieem Rashid, conducted naka checking at Sharshalli.
During the checking, one person identified as Ashiq Hussain Bhat son of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, resident of Shar Shalli was apprehended.
During search officers recovered 906 grams of Bhang Choora from his possession.
Accordingly, a case FIR No. 33/2026 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Khrew and investigation has been taken up.
