PM Shri Government Secondary School Laharwalpora Rings the Bell for Education

Bandipora,  November 08:  In a unique and inspiring initiative to motivate parents to send their children to school, PM Shri Government Secondary School Laharwalpora took the school bell to the doorsteps of the people living in their catchment area.

A group of students, led by Headmaster  Javid Jawad and Teacher  Ali Mohammad Rather, visited one of the local mohallas after the Friday prayers to spread the message of education and awareness.

To draw the attention of parents, Ali Mohammad Rather rang the school bell, symbolizing a call for learning, while the students sang an Urdu song — “Mujhe parhna likhna hai” (“I have to read and write”).

officials said the event created an emotional and powerful atmosphere, reminding everyone of the importance of education for every child.

The initiative was warmly received by the local residents, who appreciated the creative effort of the school in reaching out directly to the community.

Such outreach activities, the school administration believes, will help in enhancing enrollment and strengthening the bond between the school and the society it serves.
