Sumbal, Feb 10: The Employees of Public Health Engineering (PHE) Sub Division Sumbal on Sunday lauded the efforts of Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary in equipping the field staff of various department with protective gears.
The employees said that District Development Commissioner Bandipora allocated a handsome amount out of SDRF to equip the field staff of PHE Sub-Division Sumbal including Daily Rated Workers, ITI workers, Casual labours and Land doners with warm and waterproof jackets, long shoes and gloves which are in use by the person during work in the field for providing drinking water facility to the general public regularly especially during adverse weather conditions.
Showkat Ahmad Rather, an employee said that it is the first time in the history of District Bandipora when district administrator was so kind on the field staff of the department who are associated with the work from dawn to dusk. HE said the administration has acknowledged the work of the field staff and provided the protective gear that will give a morale boost the officials.
They thanked the district administrator for his liberal attitude, kind cooperation and being abreast with the group Staff for the betterment of the general public. “The role of the officer is commendable and the whole of the department is very thankful for such efforts.
They also thanked Chief Engineer PHE Department Er AWahidid, Executive Engineer Qazi Mushtaq Ahmad, our Assistant Executive Engineer Er Muneer Ahmad Kantroo for providing better quality protective gears to the field staff and hoped similar cooperation in future.
