AWANTIPORA, October 23: A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a car in Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday morning.
Officials told Kashmir Convener that the accident took place at Charsoo Awantipora near Petrol pump One Swift car bearing registation no JK02DN -2960 hit and injured one Pedistrain namely Ghulam Mohammad Bhat@ Gul Matoo son of Wali Mohammad, resident of Charsoo.
The injured man immediately rushed to PHC Awantipora where doctors declared him brought dead.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
