Pampore Police Hosts Folk Drama Nights Celebrating Legacy of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel

PAMPORE, November 28: As part of the ongoing year-long series of activities dedicated to honouring the life, vision, and unparalleled contribution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Police Pampore organised Folk Drama Nights portraying various episodes from the life and work of the Iron Man of India at Government Boys Higher Secondary School Pampore on Friday.
The cultural performances highlighted Sardar Patel’s remarkable role in unifying more than 560 princely states, his strong resolve in safeguarding national integrity, and his enduring contribution to building a united India. Local artists and students participated with great enthusiasm, presenting traditional folk narratives blended with patriotic themes to inspire the audience.
SDPO Pampore R.P. Singh, Principal Boys Higher Secondary School Pampore, SHO Pampore Inspector Khalid Fayaz, students and staff members of Boys Higher secondary school present during the event and appreciated the artists for their commendable performances that brought Patel’s legacy to life in an engaging and culturally rooted manner.
Mementos were presented to the best-performing groups, and certificates of appreciation were distributed to all participating artists.
Police Awantipora reaffirmed its commitment to continue such cultural, educational, and patriotic initiatives throughout the year-long programme aimed at spreading awareness about Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s monumental role in strengthening the nation.
