Palaash, Pareesha Secure Top Spot in Bandipora’s 76th Republic Day Festivities
Bandipora, January 29, 2025: The child care institutions Palaash and Pareesha of District Bandipora made their mark on the 76th Republic Day celebrations, securing the first position in the district-level event.
The institutions, which provide care and support to children in need, showcased their talents and skills.
The Republic Day celebrations in Bandipora were attended by various dignitaries, including the DDC Chairperson Deputy Commissioner, and other senior officials. The event featured a parade, cultural programs, and the distribution of prizes to the winners.
District Child Protection Officer, Mr. Sahir Majeed, congratulated the children of both institutions on their achievement.
“I am thrilled to see the children of Palaash and Pareesha excel on the 76th Republic Day celebrations. Their hard work and dedication have paid off, and I am proud of each and every one of them,” he said while talking to a news agency.
The District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) and Child Welfare Committee (CWC) were also felicitated on the occasion for their outstanding work in child protection and welfare.
PO Gowhar Mahmood and Chairperson CWC, Dr. Asima, also praised the children for their achievement. “The hard work of the children has yielded fruits, and they have made us all proud.I congratulate the children, staff, and management of Palaash and Pareesha on this achievement,” Dr. Asima said.
Officials said the success of Palaash and Pareesha on Republic Day has brought pride and recognition to the institutions, and serves as an inspiration in the district.
