Poonch, Jan 03 (KNO): In an ongoing operation along the Line of Control, after foiling the infiltration bid, the army Monday recovered some Pakistani currency and ammunition area located in Hamirpur Balakote of BG sector in Poonch district.
Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the operation including extensive searches were launched on Monday afternoon after troops foiled an infiltration attempt in the intervening night of Sunday and Monday in forward area Hamipur in Balakote sector.
"Pakistani currency to the tune of Rs 3000 and some ammunition of AK rifle has been recovered from the site," the official sources said.
