Bandipora, 16 Feb: Owais Khursheed Waza on Sunday was elected as President of the new light Taxi Sumo stand Bandipora.
As per the details available, three candidates were in the fray for the post of President.
Owais Khursheed got 126 votes while his opposite candidates got 113 & 09.
The elections were held in a free and fair manner under the supervision of senior drivers of the stand.
Owais said that he would work for the betterment of all drivers of the stand.
