On the issue of career stagnation, the government admitted that there is no Career Progression Scheme for the J&K Accounts (Gazetted) Service.

Nevertheless, a sub-committee was constituted vide government order dated July 9, 2024, to examine the issue of Assured Career Progression (ACP) for various services, including the Accounts Service. The proposal has been placed before the Under Secretary to the Government, Finance Department, for examination, the reply added.
