NM Boys Hr Sec School Bandipora bids Emotional Farewell to Veteran Teacher

Bandipora, April 30: An atmosphere of gratitude and emotion filled the campus of NM Boys Higher Secondary School Bandipora as the institution bid a heartfelt farewell to its senior Physical Education Teacher, Masheer-ul-Islam, on the occasion of his retirement after rendering 38 years of dedicated service.

          Masheer-ul-Islam’s long journey in the education sector stands as a testament to unwavering commitment and service. Over the decades, he served in challenging and remote areas such as Uri and Gurez, besides contributing significantly to various institutions across Bandipora district. His dedication, punctuality, and ever-cheerful sense of humor left a lasting impression on colleagues and students alike.

          The farewell function hosted by Sajad Ahmad Malla, a teacher of the institution, was marked by a series of impactful speeches delivered by prominent faculty members, including Muneer Ahmad Pintoo, Mr. Ishfaq Anjum Samoon, Nizamudin Bhat, and Mohammad Shafi Bhat.

Each speaker highlighted the retiring teacher’s professional excellence, discipline, and the positive energy he brought to the school environment.

         Adding vibrancy to the occasion, students presented a variety of cultural programs and poetry in his honor, showcasing their affection and respect through performances that made the event memorable.

          In a touching moment, the retiree’s two nieces and his brother, Arsalan Habib, also expressed their heartfelt views, sharing personal reflections and highlighting his role as a guiding figure and source of inspiration in their lives.

          The gathering was further graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including Principal of the institution, Abdul Rashid Lone, as well as close friends and family members of the retiree.

          The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks presented in a poetic manner by the Principal of the institution,  Reyaz Ahmad Lone, who also recalled the retiring teacher’s exemplary role and the discipline he maintained throughout his service in the institution. He expressed his sincere gratitude to all staff members, students, and guests for making the day truly memorable for the retiring employee.

          As Masheer-ul-Islam steps into a new phase of life, the school fraternity expressed deep appreciation for his invaluable 38 years of service and wished him a healthy, peaceful, and fulfilling post-retirement life.
