Nizam-ud-din Bhat holds workers meeting at Mantrigam
Scores of prominent workers of the area from different parties joined him.
Bandipora, March 5: Former legislator from Bandipora Nizam-ud-din Bhat on Saturday held meeting at Mantrigam Bonakoot where scores of prominent workers attended.
According to a statement issued to Kashmir Convener Vice-Chairperson District Development Council Kounser Shafeeq, BDC chairman Bashir Ahmad, Sarpanchs Mushtaq Ahmad, Bagh Hussain , Mohd Hussain and scores of Panchs from Bonakoot Block were part of the meeting.
Those who joined were welcomed by Bhat and others. Meeting ended on a promise that each one of participants will dedicate themselves to unconditional service of the Bonakoot area in particular and rest of the Bandipora constituency in general.
The main issues that were highest in the meeting included job opportunities to the locals in various projects which are operational in the area, development issues like drinking water facility, connectivity, medical services, welfare issues, education, issues related to forest, fisheries, agriculture, horticulture.
The public representatives informed the participants about infrastructure building in the block and assured that they will use the funds available for making the block from underdeveloped to developed one. Those prominent political workers from other parties who joined are Ab. Majid Khan, Showkat Ahmad, Mohammad Latief, Lal din, Farooq Ahmad, Mohammad Qasim, Chandiya Khan, Javiad Ahmad Teeli, Gh. Mohiuddin Tantray and Nazir Ahmad Khan.
