New Delhi, Feb 25: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested two more alleged terror operatives in connection with the Delhi Red Fort area bomb blast case, taking the total number of arrests to 11.

The accused have been identified as Zameer Ahmad Ahangar of Ganderbal and Tufail Ahmad Bhat of Srinagar. According to the NIA, the two were formally arrested for their alleged involvement in the conspiracy behind the November 10, 2025 blast that killed 11 persons and injured several others in the national capital.

The prime accused, Umer Un Nabi, was killed in the explosion.

The NIA, which is investigating the case (RC-21/2025/NIA/DLI), said investigations revealed that the duo had allegedly supplied weapons to the prime accused and were active over ground workers (OGWs) of the banned terror outfit Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGH).

According to the agency, the two were involved in the larger conspiracy and were also linked to other terror plots. They were allegedly engaged in the collection and supply of arms and ammunition intended for use against the State.

The agency said the blast conspiracy was masterminded by Umer along with other accused — Muzammil Ganai, Shaheen Saeed, Mufti Irfan and Adeel Ahmed Rather — besides five others who allegedly provided shelter and logistical support. These nine accused were arrested earlier from various locations in Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana.

The NIA said investigations are ongoing and are being carried out in coordination with Jammu and Kashmir Police, Haryana Police and other central agencies to unravel the full extent of the conspiracy.
