Srinagar, August 18: The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Jammu & Kashmir unit, held an organizational meeting in Srinagar on Tuesday to review measures for strengthening the party structure and expanding its presence at the grassroots level across the Union Territory.
The meeting was chaired by NCP J&K UT President Dr. Tariq Rasool and attended by NCP National Coordinator for Jammu & Kashmir UT Mateen Kamble, senior party leaders, district presidents, district-level office bearers of the Kashmir province and other organizational functionaries.
The participants discussed strengthening the party’s organizational structure, improving coordination among workers and expanding the party network at the grassroots level. They also deliberated on the NCP’s future political and organizational strategy in Jammu & Kashmir.
Kamble appreciated the efforts of the UT leadership and party workers towards strengthening the organization and stressed the importance of unity, discipline and coordination among party functionaries at different levels.
Rasool briefed the participants on the ongoing organizational activities and outlined the party’s future plans in Jammu & Kashmir. He said the UT leadership would continue efforts to build a structured and people-oriented organization.
The participants resolved to work collectively to expand the party’s organizational base and raise issues concerning the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
The meeting concluded with party leaders and workers reaffirming their commitment to strengthening the NCP at the grassroots level and taking its policies and programmes to the people.
