NCC Jammu group excels in Republic Day Camp 2024
Srinagar, Feb 01: The National Cadet Corps (NCC) Jammu Group has received acknowledgement and awards at the Republic Day Camp (RDC) 2024.
Outstanding contributions by Cadet Rohit Sharma from MAM College Jammu and Cadet Anamika Bali from GDC Poonch were acknowledged with DG NCC Commendation Cards, recognizing their exemplary leadership and commitment to NCC values.
Medallion recipients SUO Kaviya Raina from Polytechnic College Jammu and Cadet Rahul Sharma from GDC Akhnoor showcased exceptional skills and teamwork, earning well-deserved recognition.
Acknowledging the pivotal role of support staff, Second Officer Arti Chopra of APS Nagrota and Permanent Instructor Havildar Balwinder Singh of 5 J&K Bn NCC received Medallions for their crucial contributions in guiding cadets.
These commendations, representing 10 percent of participants, underscore the NCC Jammu Group's unwavering commitment. The rigorous selection and training processes of NCC Battalions played a pivotal role in preparing cadets for such prestigious events.
Cadet Rohit Sharma's role as the Commander of the Guard of Honour for dignitaries, including the Vice President, Defence Minister, and all three service Chiefs, highlighted the exceptional standards of NCC training and leadership.
