Mushtaq Reshi Elected President as DTOAK Charts New Course for Kashmir Tourism

New leadership vows sustainable growth, industry unity, and fresh initiatives for 2025–2027 term

 

 

Srinagar, Aug 9: In a show of unity and vision, the Domestic Tour Operators Association of Kashmir (DTOAK) elected its new leadership for the 2025–2027 term during a spirited gathering at Hotel Winter Sky, Dalgate. The event drew full participation from members, reflecting the industry’s determination to strengthen Kashmir’s tourism landscape.

Following a fair and transparent election, Mushtaq Reshi was chosen as President, Fayaz Ahmad Dharma as Vice-President, and Firdous Guroo as General Secretary.

The new team pledged to work hand in hand with stakeholders to tackle challenges, promote sustainable tourism, and enhance Jammu & Kashmir’s appeal to domestic travelers, ensuring both economic growth and cultural preservation.

The ceremony was attended by notable tourism leaders, including Abdul Rashid Sahib, General Secretary, HBO; Ghulam Nabi Dharma, Executive Member, TAAK; and Jan Sahib, President, UTTA, who extended their congratulations and support.

With this renewed leadership, DTOAK has set its sights on a dynamic, collaborative future for the region’s tourism sector.
