Rajouri, April 25: In line with the Indian Army’s core objective of fostering strong relations with the local population under the “Awam ke Saath” initiative, and with the aim of motivating the youth to join the Armed Forces and instilling a deep sense of patriotism, the Indian Army organised a special motivational lecture by a gallantry awardee at Thanamandi in Rajouri district. The event was specifically tailored for the students of Government Higher Secondary School, Thanamandi.
During the session, a representative of the Indian Army delivered an inspiring address to the students, highlighting the various ways to join the armed forces and outlining several initiatives undertaken by the Government to support aspirants. The representative emphasized that the region is home to a wealth of talented and academically bright students who often miss opportunities due to lack of proper guidance and mentorship. The interaction aimed to identify this untapped potential and encourage students to pursue careers in the armed forces through institutions such as Sainik Schools and pre-commissioning training academies.
