Tral, September 06: In a tragic incident, a seven-year-old girl was killed after being attacked by a leopard in Medora village of Tral on Saturday.
The victim has been identified as Tanzeela, daughter of Roshan Khan, a resident of Gujjar Basti Midoora. According to locals, the child was grazing cattle when the leopard attacked her, leaving her with fatal injuries. She died on the spot, local sources told Kashmir Convener.
The incident has triggered panic and fear among residents of the area, who say wild animal attacks have been increasing in recent months. They have urged the authorities to take immediate and effective measures to prevent further tragedies and ensure the safety of people, particularly children.
