Mindwire becomes first coaching Academy to achieve 100% Vaccination in Bandipora

Bandipora, 15 January : Mindwire a local coaching institute has successfully achieved 100% COVID-19 vaccination of students of 15-18 age group and has become the first coaching institute to achieve this target in district Bandipora.

An official statement issued to Kashmir Convener, spokesperson said as the Government of Jammu Kashmir made vaccination mandatory for 15-18 yrs old age group and ordered closure of educational institutions after sudden rise in daily COVID cases, the management of Mindwire Academy with the help of District Adminstration Bandipora organized a sepcial vaccination camp for its students of 15-18 age group.

The academy has few hundred students falling in the age group of 15-18 and all of them were vaccinated in this camp organised by Mindwire Academy with the help of District Adminstration Bandipora and District Hospital Bandipora. "It was the first vaccination camp organised by an educational institute in Bandipora," He added.

"We had informed our students about the camp and asked them to get vaccinated and we are happy that everyone came and got vaccinated", a staff member said.

As per the statement, Students who vaccinated themselves said, "As COVID is spreading now among young population, it was a need of hour to vaccinater younger population. We are thankful to our Academy for organizing this vaccination camp. This camp made it easy for us to get vaccinated. And other institutions should also organize vaccination camps as it is the only way to minimize COVID spread.", 

The Chairman of MindWire Academy Peerzada yasir thanked the administration and health department for organising this camp, He said “We are thankful to the authorities for sending their vaccination teams to the academy,

"Now we are hopeful that we will be allowed to resume the classes with proper Covid protocols in place and we will prefer weekly Covid tests and all the directions given by admin." Yasir said,

He further said “Our students have been loosing out on education since last three years and closure of academies will again add to the already existing burden on our students.”
