Srinagar, Feb 27: Indian Army on Tuesday organised a medical and health check-up Camp for the residents of border areas in Poonch district.
“Indian Army organised a Medical and health check-up camp at Govt Girls Middle School, Nazal Chak, Rakhmuthi under Operation Sadbhavana, which aimed to provide essential healthcare services, free medical consultation along with free prescribed medicines for the residents of border area villages including Ratanpur, Potha and Rakhmuthi,” a defence spokesperson said in a statement.
He said that the camp also offered dental checkup and consultation by esteemed gynaecologists and other specialists. “In addition, the event also featured nutritional counselling, dental hygiene awareness and distribution of essential medicines to the residents.
The populace appreciated the efforts of the Indian Army for organising such an event,” he added.
