Sumbal, 27 Feb : Municipal Committee Sumbal holds a massive cleanliness awareness campaign on thursday in many rural areas in Sumbal Sub Division of North Kashmir's Bandipora District.
According to details Chairmain Municipal Committee Sumbal Jahangeer Ahmad Dar along with Executive officers and other municipal officials visited many rural areas in Sumbal Sub division and hold a massive cleanliness awareness campaign.
The main objective of the campaign was to Create awareness among the locals to keep their localities neat and clean and to make 'Swach Bharat Mission' programme of Central government a grand success.
Meanwhile, people were also warned not throw garbage bags,Gobar and other household material on the roadside and other places.
MC Sumbal Chairman, Jahangeer Ahmad Dar talking to Kashmir Convener said that we have given 2 days relaxation to the locals to clean all the garbage and other anti-environmental material from roadside and other places , after two days strict action will be taken against persons who would be found repeating this immoral and unethical act.
Locals also hailed the conduct of such awareness campaign's by the MC Sumbal and praised the Chairman for taking this initiative of cleaning garbage from roadside and other places.
