Bandipora 10 April: Massive overnight blaze had completely gutted two residential houses and a cowshed in Kanyari village, located in North Kashmir's Bandipora district.
The affected houses were identified as belonging to Habibullah Kaloo and Noori Begum.
Fortunately, timely action by locals prevented the fire from spreading further in the congested area, and there were no reports of injuries or loss of life.
At the time of reporting, the cause of the fire was still unknown. Local residents have appealed to the district administration authorities to provide compensation to the affected families.
