Major Gopi Singh Rathore Memorial North Kashmir Football Championship Enters Into Quarter Finals
BANDIPORA, NOVEMBER 04 : The Major Gopi Singh Rathore Memorial North Kashmir Football Championship has entered into quarter finals as on day-3 four league matches were played.
An official spokesperson said all the teams displayed impeccable sportsmanship, team spirit and do or die attitude. “The cheering of the crowd was a sight to watch and it was their loud support which led to their teams putting their best foot forward”.
Star Line Sopore won the first match against Lolab FC while Mazbugh Junior Academy, Sopore won by 1-0 against Gundbal FC, Pattan. SFCA Bandipora won by 6-0 against Malmoh FC, Tangmarg while Iqbal FC Bandipora won by 10-1 against Villigham FC.
After today's matches, the tournament has now entered into Quarter Finals stage in which top two teams from each pool will fight to book their berths for semifinals.
