Reasi, June 06 : An eight-year-old girl was killed while her sister received grave injuries in a leopard attack in Chanitop Sajroo village of Reasi on Thursday evening.
Reports reaching GNS said that the two daughters of Mushtaq Ahmad of Chanitop Kalwa Sajroo were playing outside their house when the leapord, which presumbly came from the nearby forest, pounced on them. One of the girl identified as Gulshad Bano (08) was dragged away by the wild animal to the nearby forests' of Konsoli Kalwa.
Soon after the news broke, locals ventured to the forest and later found the body of Gulshad Bano.
The other girl Dilshad Bano has also received serious injury in the incident and was hospitalised in critical conditions.
Meanwhile SHO Mohre Mohammad Anzar Mir also confirmed the incident. (GNS)
