Kashmir’s Irfan Rashid Wins Chanakya Jury Special Award at PRCI Global Communication Conclave in Goa

Goa, September 26: Irfan Rashid, a young Corporate Communications professional from Kashmir, has been conferred with the Chanakya Jury Special Award – Promising Corporate Communicator of the Year at the 19th PRCI Global Communication Conclave, held in Goa on 26 September 2025.

The prestigious award was presented by the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), a leading professional body of communicators, media, advertising, and PR practitioners. The recognition is reserved for young professionals who exhibit outstanding promise, creativity, and commitment in the field of corporate communications.

Rashid, who is currently associated with REC Limited, a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, was recognised for his contribution to building impactful narratives, fostering stakeholder trust, and adopting innovative practices in corporate communication.

The award also reflects REC’s commitment to nurturing young talent within its Corporate Communications Division, which has consistently worked to strengthen stakeholder engagement through transparent, effective, and innovative communication strategies.

REC Limited is India’s largest Government-owned Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC) on a standalone basis, playing a vital role in financing the country’s power sector and supporting India’s transition towards a sustainable energy future.
