Kashmiri Actor Bismah Meer Joins JKPC  months after quitting JKNC

Srinagar, March 02: Young Kashmiri Actor Bismah Meer on Saturday joined Jammu and Kashmir People’s Conference.

       JKPC President Sajad Lone formally welcomed the actor into the party fold. PC Spokesperson Adnan Ashraf Mir and Youth President Mudasir Karim were also present on the occasion.

Meer was earlier associated with the National Conference and left the party a few months ago.

In a statement issued by the party, PC Spokesperson said that Bismah’s passion for driving positive change among the youth is commendable and welcomed wholeheartedly.

"Our resonance with the youth is evident, as we have always considered them the driving force behind positive change. Today's joining is a testament to that, where energetic youth, with their determination and strength, aspire to contribute to the betterment of society," PC Spokesperson said.


Bisma Meer expressed sincere gratitude to the party leadership for providing her with a platform to amplify youth concerns.


"The dedication of the Peoples Conference to the youth of J&K has inspired me to join and work under its stalwart leadership. I believe this party is unique in its recognition of young voices, not only listening to them but also valuing their potential to bring about significant change," she expressed.
