Bandipora, March 01: A day after a Generator was damaged in a fire incident in Kanzalwan , Army conducts a fire audit of all the generators in Kanzalwan village.
An official said after the avoidable fire incident at the Kanzalwan generator shed, a fire and electricity audit was carried out at Nayal village generator shed by the unit FRI Rep.
During the inspection the battalion ensured a thorough and detailed check of wires and connections. Moreover, the army conducted an In-Situ workshop for the village’s operator of the generator to include fire safety and fire fighting drills and advise to locate the fire extinguisher in a manner which will assist the public to react to a contingency in a timely manner.
Locals appreciated the proactive efforts of Army to avoid untoward fire incidents in the area.
