Srinagar, March 18: The top leadership of Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar e Taleem Teachers Forum (JKReTTF) have in a joint statement stressed for a wider consultation with all the organizations who are representing the interests of JK teachers.
An official spokesperson said the statement was issued after a threadbare discussion by senior most UT level leaders including many DPs over the proposal coming from the JKReTTF Executive in which it was favored to have a coordination with other teacher's organization.
All the participants felt the urgency of having a broader unity and coordination among representatives of all the forums so that a joint platform is formed for securing the rights of the teaching community of UT. "The coordination should be with all, not with any particular faction", the leaders added. The signatories of this JKReTTF Apex statement are Bashir Ahmad Dar, Mohammad Iqbal Bhat, Malik Bilal, Muzzaffar Masroor, Rahi Irshad, Majid Marouphay, Mohammad Yaseen, Imtiyaz Bukhari, Mohammad Altaf Bhat, Abdul Khaliq Chopan, Khalid Rafeeq Bhat, Mohammad Yaqoob Bhat, Mukhtar Qadri, Haji Altaf and Muhammad Ashraf Rather.
