JKReTTF holds condolence meetings at Pazalpora, Kaloosa in Bandipora

Bandipora, Dec 29: The Jammu and Kashmir ReT Teachers Forum (JKReTTF) on Sunday held separate condolence meetings at Pazalpora and Kaloosa in Bandipora district to mourn the demise of two senior citizens, including the father of a district office bearer and a retired educationist.

 

The first condolence meeting was held at Pazalpora Bandipora at the residence of Mushtaq Ahmad Hajam, District President JKReTTF Bandipora, on the demise of his father, Abdul Ahad Hajam, who passed away after a prolonged illness.

 

Chairman JKReTTF, Khalid Rafeeq Bhat, while addressing the gathering, reflected on the philosophy of life and death and highlighted the role of parents in society, the responsibility of teachers in shaping students’ moral character, and the duties of children towards their parents during their lifetime and after their demise. He expressed condolences with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.

 

Fateh-e-Khawani was offered by Haji Ghulam Hassan Dar, during which prayers were held for the deceased and for patience and strength for the grieving family.

 

Later, the JKReTTF delegation visited Kaloosa Bandipora to offer condolences at the residence of Abdul Rashid Ganie, former Master of Zone Quilmuqaam, who passed away suddenly on Sunday. The forum expressed deep shock over his demise, noting that Ganie had superannuated from the Education Department only a year ago after rendering long and dedicated service.

 

Fateh-e-Khawani at Kaloosa was offered by Mehraj-ul-Islam Reshi, with prayers for the departed soul.

 

A large number of JKReTTF members and office bearers from Bandipora and Baramulla districts participated in the condolence meetings. Prominent among those present were Senior Vice President Rahi Irshad, State Convener Haji Altaf Hussain, Senior Apex Member Mohammad Ashraf Rather, District President Baramulla Mohammad Yaqoob Bhat, District General Secretary Bandipora Hammid Hussain Lone, Senior Vice District President Abdul Hameed Sofi, Chief Spokesperson Sheikh Mujtahid-ul-Islam, and several zonal presidents and executives from Sumbal, Hajin, Quilmuqaam, Rohama and Dangerpora.

 

The JKReTTF leadership expressed solidarity with both bereaved families and prayed for peace to the departed souls and courage to the families to bear the loss.
