JKReTTF Delegation Meets CEO Bandipora, Raises Concerns Over Recent Order
Sumbal, April 16: A delegation of the Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum (JKReTTF), Zone Sumbal, led by veteran Zonal President Mr. Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, held an important meeting with Chief Education Officer Bandipora, Mr. Abdul Rashid Mir, in Education Zone Sumbal.
An official spokesperson said the meeting focused primarily on a recent directive issued by the CEO Bandipora’s office, which has sparked concerns among members of the teaching fraternity. While acknowledging the broader intent of the order to uplift educational standards, the delegation conveyed apprehensions about certain provisions which they felt could potentially impact the dignity and morale of teachers.
In a constructive and cordial exchange, CEO Bandipora Mr. Abdul Rashid Mir clarified that the order was issued with a positive vision to enhance the academic environment for both educators and students. He reassured the delegation that no steps would be taken that would compromise the credibility or integrity of teachers.
Reiterating its unwavering commitment to defend the rights and dignity of educators, JKReTTF—under the leadership of Chairman Mr. Khalid Rafeeq Bhat—affirmed that it will continue to stand firmly against any move that undermines the legitimate interests of teachers. The Forum also expressed appreciation for officers who demonstrate genuine concern and commitment to the welfare of both teachers and students.
