Bandipora, Jan 14: A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers’ Forum (JKReTTF), District Bandipora on Wednesday called on Deputy Chief Education Officer Bandipora Dr GM Puju and felicitated him on assumption of charge as Drawing and Disbursing Officer (DDO) and Chief Education Officer (CEO) of the district
In a statement issued to Kashmir Convener, an official spokesperson of the organization said the delegation led by District President Mushtaq Ahmad Hajam, comprising state members from Bandipora, district members and zonal presidents, attended the event.
During the ceremony, the delegation welcomed Dr Puju and expressed hope that his tenure would strengthen the functioning of the school education sector in the district.
Speakers highlighted the importance of focused attention on students’ welfare, school infrastructure and issues concerning the teaching fraternity.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Puju thanked the delegation for the welcome and said he would work in close coordination with all stakeholders to improve the educational ecosystem in Bandipora. He stressed the need for collective efforts and shared responsibility to ensure better outcomes in school education.
The event concluded with an expression of commitment from both the officers and teachers’ representatives to work together for the overall development of education in the district.
