JKNC Bandipora Holds Grand Welcome Meeting for Newly Appointed District President Dr Zahoor Sofi

Bandipora, May 3: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) Bandipora Constituency on Saturday organised a grand welcome meeting to felicitate newly appointed District President Bandipora, Dr Zahoor Ahmad Sofi.

A party spokesperson told Kashmir Convener that the programme was held under the leadership of Constituency Incharge Bandipora and North Zone Secretary Nazir Malik and witnessed participation of a large number of party workers and functionaries.Among those present were Joint Secretary Tanveer Bhutto, Block Presidents, Halqa Presidents, delegates, youth representatives, and senior party activists. The gathering reflected enthusiasm and renewed commitment among the cadre.

The proceedings began with a welcome address by Tanveer Bhutto, who appreciated the party leadership for appointing Dr Zahoor Sofi as District President. Several senior party members, including Professor Ab Rehman, Haji Mohammad Yousuf, Haji Ab Rehman, Engineer Sameer Iqbal, Captain Rafiq Malik, Wani Manzoor, and District Youth President Danish Shafi, also addressed the gathering.

Speakers highlighted the organisational strength of the party and expressed confidence that the new leadership would further strengthen the party at the grassroots level.

Addressing the gathering, Advocate Nazir Malik praised the dedication, contribution, and political commitment of Dr Zahoor Sofi towards the party over the years.

He termed the decision of the party high command as timely and in the best interest of the organisation.

He said such decisions boost the morale of workers and reinforce their confidence in the party leadership.

In his address, Dr Zahoor Sofi expressed gratitude to the party high command for reposing trust in him and assured that he would work tirelessly to strengthen the party across the district.

He emphasized unity, discipline, collective responsibility, and grassroots outreach as key priorities and pledged to work for making the district unit more cohesive and vibrant.

The meeting concluded with slogans in favour of the party leadership and a renewed pledge by workers to work with dedication and unity for strengthening the organisation in Bandipora.
