Bandipora, Jan 19: A delegation of General Line Teachers Forum (GLTF) led by district president Abdul Samad Najar met Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Shakeel-ur-Rehman in his office chamber on Friday.
According to a statement issued by the GLTF the meeting was started with a welcome note by Zahoor Ahmad Lone Organizer JKGLTF Bandipora and then a detailed memorandum was submitted to Deputy Commissioner.
Spokesperson said Deputy Commissioner gave a patient hearing to the delegates and assured them that his priority will be education sector of Bandipora and will take up the issues raised by delegation with education department.
Later on the delegation met Chief Education Officer and Deputy Chief Education Officer Bandipora and appraised them the various issues faced by teaching community.
Both the officers assured the delegation that all the genuine issues of teachers will be addressed on priority basis.
The delegation included Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar, Gh Nabi Chopan, Shabir Ahmad Lone, Javeed Ahmad Mir, Mohd Shfai khoja Haroon Rashid, Hisam ud din Bhat and Gulzar Ahmad (GLTF Gurez)
