Bandipora, Feb 09: Jammu and Kashmir General Line Teachers Forum Bandipora on Wednesday called on Chief Education Officer Bandipora to discuss issues being faced by teachers and students.
Organiser GLTF Zahoor Ahmad said a delegation of the forum met Chief Education Officer Bandipora in his office chamber and discussed a number of issues facing the teachers and students.
According to the statement, CEO Bandipora gave patient hearing to the delegation and assured immediate redressal of issues lying in his domain and told the representation that other issues will be brought into the notice of higher authorities.
He discussed the issues with the clerical staff and directed them for timely redressal. The issues which were into his notice are
Timely release of elementary level salary budget, release 4% DA arrears, cancellation of deployment of teachers who were deployed for academic session, release of MDM expenditure, ATD of teachers, release of MDM expenditure from August 2022, engagement of AAYAs in all primary and middle schools.
Later a demand of memorandum was also submitted to CEO Bandipora
