JKBOSE website to remain temporarily shut from Jan 19, Online services including re-evaluation, photocopy applications, suspended

Srinagar, Jan 16: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education has announced a temporary shutdown of its official website for technical upgradation, causing suspension of all online services for several days.
The BOSE said that its official website will remain temporarily unavailable for a period of four to five days starting from January 19, 2026. The shutdown has been necessitated to carry out technical upgrades in line with operational guidelines.
During this period, all online services provided by the Board will remain suspended. These include, among others, applications for re-evaluation and requests for photocopies of answer scripts, officials said.
The BOSE, as per the news agency Kashmir News Trust stated that the temporary shutdown is mandatory to ensure smooth functioning of the system and improved service delivery once the website is restored.
JKBOSE has expressed regret over the inconvenience likely to be caused to students, parents and other stakeholders due to the temporary unavailability of online services.
Students and stakeholders have been advised to plan their online submissions accordingly and await further updates once the website becomes operational after the upgrade process. [KNT]
