Srinagar, Feb 17: The Working Committee of J&K Students Association here on today Constituted interim body of association till organizational elections, to be held on 31th March this year. After holding meeting, the committee members, decided to Constitute Interim Body till final elections are held. Association in it's Statement said that, the election will be conducted by electronic mode and we have a democratic system, where elections are held from the Secretary to President’s level.
Mushtaq Ahmad was elected as President, Junaid Rather as Vice President, Nasir Khuehami as Spokesperson, Younus Rashid as additional Spokesperson, Danish Lone as General Secretary, Mustufizul Rehman as Convenor, Dr Allahudeen as Secretary, Davood Peer as Joint Secretary of association respectively, while Mehraj Ahmad and Aasif Amin will hold charge of Social media Coordinators of Association until elections are held.
The Interim body was framed for carrying out the day to day affairs/ activities of the association and to readdress the grievances of Students of the till the election of association are held. The state coordinators of association will function and will continue to work in their respective states. Association stressed that all the members of the Association must work cooperatively and must follow the decisions of the working body. Association in it's statement said that it had always fought for the rights of the Jammu and Kashmiri students and will always keep its hard efforts on to do so in the future too. We assure all the students that association will go through all the possible ways for the welfare and betterment of the students, the statement reads
