JK High Court Bar Association, KAA Hosts Iftaar Gathering in Srinagar

Srinagar, March 12: The Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association Srinagar and the Kashmir Advocates Association (KAA) jointly organized a Dawat-e-Iftaar gathering at the Amar Singh Club in Srinagar during the holy month of Ramzan, bringing together members of the legal fraternity and the judiciary.

The event was attended by the Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, Arun Palli, who was accompanied by his wife. Other dignitaries present included Mohammad Yousuf Wani, Judge of the High Court, and M. S. Lateef, Member Judicial and Head of Department at the Central Administrative Tribunal, Srinagar Bench.

According to organizers, the gathering brought together senior advocates, members of the Bar, and other representatives of the legal community who assembled to observe the traditional breaking of the fast. Participants opened their fast in accordance with Ramzan customs and interacted during the event.

Officials from the Bar Association said the programme provided an opportunity for interaction among members of the judiciary and advocates practicing before the High Court and other forums in the region. The gathering included discussions and informal exchanges among participants.

The event was attended by several advocates and legal professionals who participated in the Iftaar meal and remained present for interactions following the prayers.

Organizers stated that such gatherings are held during Ramzan to facilitate engagement among members of the legal fraternity and strengthen professional relations between the Bar and the Bench.
