JK-GLTF Welcomes Clearance of Pending Employee Dues in J&K

Srinagar, March 29: The Jammu and Kashmir General Line Teachers Forum (JKGLTF) has welcomed the clearance of pending employee liabilities up to December 31, 2025, expressing appreciation for the move by the Jammu and Kashmir administration.

In a statement issued to Kashmir Convener, the forum thanked the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and the Financial Commissioner, Finance Department, for facilitating the release of dues, including General Provident Fund (GPF), leave salary, commutation and State Life Insurance (SLI) benefits.

The forum said the pending liabilities had been awaited for a prolonged period and their clearance has provided relief to government employees across the Union Territory. It stated that delays in payments had caused financial difficulties for employees.

According to the forum, the release of dues has improved confidence among employees and reflects efforts by the administration to address employee-related concerns.

The forum also expressed hope that payments related to service benefits, including GPF and leave salary, would be processed in a timely manner in the future to avoid delays.

Representatives of the forum said timely disbursement of such benefits is important for ensuring financial stability of employees and maintaining administrative efficiency.
