Srinagar, Jan 17: Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral R Hari Kumar initiated the commencement of the Indian Navy Chadar Trek expedition at INS Shivaji in New Delhi.
The CNS presented the ceremonial Ice Axe to team leader Cdr Navneet Malik, extending best wishes for a successful expedition. The 14-member team is set to conquer the summit at an elevation of 11,000 ft, where they will proudly unfurl the National flag and Naval Ensign.
This expedition exemplifies the adventurous spirit of the Indian Navy, fostering a resilient workforce capable of overcoming challenges and adverse weather conditions.
